This year I've really enjoyed exploring the unique and captivating lone trees in my local area. A recent excursion to the Chiltern hills within Ashridge Estate provided me with an awe-inspiring experience. A dusting of snow with a backdrop of morning fog created the perfect conditions to highlight the beauty of this one particular tree. Its branches seemed to be almost like finger prints on paper, reminding me of the beauty and individuality of every tree. Just like us, every tree has its own distinctive "fingerprint".
